"Glacier-National Park"
Issue date: 19th January 2012

The Glacier National Park is situated in the U.S. state of Montana, bordering the Canadian provinces of Alberta and British Columbia. The park includes parts of three mountain Ranges (Clark Range, Lewis Range and Livingston Range) and is listing more then 150 named peaks above 2'400 metres. The park covers an area of 4'101 square km.

The foreground looks like the alpine meadows at Logan Pass.  However, the peaks in the background are not peaks that you can see that close from Logan Pass. The photo looks like it must be an artists rendition and a compilation of several places, put together. The Stoney Indian Peaks are the sharp peaks located on the right side of the stamp.
