The background of the three stamps shows a part of a the panoramic view from the summit area of Mt. Alphubel (4'206 m) towards the Monte Rosa massif, Liskamm and Castor. The second highest point of the Monte Rosa massif (4'632 m) was renamed in Dunantspitze at October 6th 2014 in honour of Henry Dunant (1828 - 1910), the Swiss founder of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in 1863. Formerly the point was named as Ostspitze.
