The imprinted stamp of the miniaturesheet shows the Bernina Express (RhB ABe 8/12 Allegra) of the Rhatean Railway. The background of the stamp does not correspond with the real view along the Bernina railway line. As you can see below, the mountain peaks on the Bernina Express stamp look like the view (but mirror inverted) between the Wengener Alp and the Kleine Scheidegg of the famous Jungfrau Railway towards Mt. Jungfrau in the Bernese Alps (back to Eiger, Mönch Jungfrau) .
The illustration of the miniaturesheet shows the Glacier Express (operating between St. Moritz and Zermatt) over a bridge. It seems to be the famous Landwasser Viaduct near Filisur, but the reflected mountains in the windows do not correspond at that point with the reality and also the mountain in the background is not the real background of the Landwasser Viaduct. The background depicts a view towards Mt. Jungfrau seen from Allmendhubel above Mürren (please scroll down or klick here).
The Glarner Sprinter (RBDe 560 "NPZ Domino") was a passenger train of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB). It ran from 12th December 2004 till 14th June 2014 from Zürich main station to the canton of Glarus. Since 15th June 2014 the Glarner Sprinter has been replaced by the S25 of the S-Bahn Zürich.
The background does not correspond with the landscape between Zürich main station and the canton of Glarus in Switzerland. It is identic with the view from Innsbruck main station of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) towards the Rumerspitze and Pfeiser Spitze of the Inntal Range in Austria.
The Transalpin operated by the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) is connecting the cities Graz in Austria with Zürich in Switzerland.
The background does not correspond with the landscape between the cities Graz and Zürich. It is the view from the "Montebello-Viewpoint" at the Bernina Pass raod. The viewpoint offers a view towards the 180 degrees horseshoe bend of the Bernina Railway with the marvellous view towards the Morteratsch Glacier and the Bernina Range. The EuroCity express "Transalpin" depicted on the stamp is not able to run the small 1,000 mm (3 ft 3 3⁄8 in) metre gauge mountain railway line of the Bernina Express (Rhaetian Railway).
The Voralpen Express (locomotive Re 456, painted in advertisement colours for "Vögele Shoes") runs between the cities St. Gallen and Lucerne.
It depicts the Gletscherhorn 3'983 m and Äbeni Flue 3'962 m (Bernese Alps), seen from Allmendhubel above Mürren (please see pictures below).
The locomotive Be 2/6 7003 Blonay of the Transports MontreuxVeveyRiviera is operating in the area Montreux. It is part of the GoldenpassLine (Montreux-Lucerne)
Background: Mt. Jungfrau 4'158 m, seen from Allmendhubel above Mürren (please see pictures below).
The background of the two stamps shows a part of the panoramic view from the Allmendhubel (above Mürren).
