Jambyl Region is a region of Kazakhstan (capital is Taraz). Jambyl Region borders in the south to Kyrgyzstan and the western part of the Kyrgyz Ala-Too range serves as a natural border between the Jambyl region of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
