Framnes Mountains

The Framnes Mountains are consisting of the Casey Range, Masson Range, David Range, and Brown Range. It reaches a height up to abiout 1'500 metres. The mountains forms the backdrop of the Australian Mawson Station, located at Holme Bay.

Mt. Henderson at 67°42'11.61"S 63° 3'40.22"E (970 m) is rising through the ice sheet eighteen kilometres in the southeast of Mawson station and forms the eastern boundary of the Framnes mountains.

The Mt. Coates is located at 67° 51' 56.2" S 62° 30' 53.6" E in the Davis Range.

The Northern David Range has five main peaks from north to south: Mount Parsons (1'120 m), Fang Peak (1'005 m), Mount Elliot (1'210 m), Mount Lawrence (1'120 m) and Mt. Coates (1'280 m)
