The Flinders Ranges in South Australia stretches for about 430 kilometres from Port Pirie to the Lake Callabonna. Within the area there are the Mt. Remarkable Nationalpark, the Flinders Ranges National Park, the Harraweena Conservation Park and the Vulkathunha-Gammon Ranges National Park.
The highest point of the Range is the summit St. Mary Peak (1'171 m). Other major peaks are known as Mt. Hack (1'086 m), Mt. Karawarra (1'025 m), and Mt. Gee (640 m) , Mt. Painter and Mt. Kinlay in the Vulkathunha-Gammon Ranges National Park.
