The Kakadu Nationalpark is located about 170 kilometres in the east of Darwin.
The main landforms of the park are the stone country which includes the Arnhemland plateau and the escarpment complex, the outliers, the lowlands, the southern hills and basins, the floodplains and the tidal flats.
