The Lechquell Mountains borders in north-west to the Bregenz Forest Mountains, in the north-east to the Allgäuer Alps, in the east to the Lechtal Alps, in the south-east to the Verwall Mountains and in south-west to the Rätikon Alps.
The highest mountains are the Untere Wildgrubenspitze (2'753 m), the Rote Wand (2'704 m) and Grosser Grätlisgrat (2'702 m).

The Hochkünzelspitze is a 2'397 m high mountain in the Lechquell Mountains.
The photography shows a view from along the Hochtannberg road towards the Hochkünzelspitze (2'397 m). The lower peak at the right is the Niedere Künzelspitze (2'156 m). The viewpoint is near Schröcken (appr. 47°15'36.23"N 10° 5'37.11"E).
