The Waterton Lakes National Park is situated in southwestern Alberta. It borders to the Glacier National Park in Montana, USA.

The Mount Cleveland is the highest mountain of the Lewis Range in the Glacier National Park (USA). It is situated approximately 5 km southeast of the southern end of the Waterton Lake and the US/Canada border.

The picture (left) is showing a view from the Cameron lake, within Waterton Nationalpark, towards Forum Peak and Mt. Custer. 

The picture (right) is showing a view from the lookout point "Bow Summit", along the scenic road Icefields Parkway, across "Lake Peyto" towards the Mount Patterson.

The stamp is existing self-adhesive/die-cut, water activated/perforated in a miniaturesheet and imprinted on a stationery postal card.
"Unesco World Heritage Sites in Canada III".

The image depicts the "Prince of Wales Hotel" (opened July 25, 1927). Its striking design and dramatic setting makes it one of Waterton's most recognized landmarks.  In the background the Wahcheechee mountain (left) and the Citadel Peaks (right), both mountains are located within the bordering Glacier National Park (Montana/USA).
