The Chaya Mountains (also known as also known as the Linglong Mountain, Cuo'e Mountain and Stone Monkey Holy Mountain) are located about 25 kilometres in the northwest of Zhumadian city. It is an extension of the eastern part of the Funiu Mountains and is renowned for its unique patterns of mountains and rocks. In the year 2003, the area was awarded the title of “State Geological Park”.
Famous summits are Mila Hill, South Hill, North Hill, Liufeng Hill, and scenic spots of Tianmo Lake, Pipa Lake, Xiuma Lake, and Baihua Lake.
