China 2003, Giant Buddha of Leshan.
The 71 metres tall "Giant Buddha of Leshan" was curved out of a cliff face that lies at the confluence of the Minjiang, Dadu and Qingyi rivers and faces the Emei Shan.

It was built between 713 and 803 (during the Tang Dynasty).
