The Mt. Kailash is a sacred mountain in the western part of the Tibet Autonomous Region. It is situated close to the lake Manasarowar and near the source of the four huge rivers in Asia, the Indus-, the Sutlej-, the Brahmaputra- and the Karnali-River.
The Kailash is considered as a sacred place for five religions: Ayyavazhi, Bön, Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism and is one of "The Four Tibetan Sacred Mountains".
