The Meili Xue Shan range in situated in the Yunnan Province. Its highest peak is Kawagarbo, also known as Kawagebo. Kawagarbo is one of the "The Four Tibetan Sacred Mountains".
It is close to the northwestern boundary of the province and is bounded by the Salween River on the west and the Mekong on the east.

Because of the extremely dangerous conditions, none of the major peaks in the range has ever been climed (2010).
