The Wuyi Shan runs along the northern border of Fujian province with Jiangxi province, between Wuyishan City (Fujisan) and Shangrao city in Jiangxi province.
The highest peak in the Wuyi Shan is the Huanggang at 2'158 m on the border of Fujisan and Jiangxi provinces. The Wuyi Shan scenic area is located in the southwest of Nanping city (Jiangxi Province). The Jade Girl Peak (Yunu hill) in the Nine-Bend River area itself is a "symbol" of the Wuyi Shan.
