The Tequendama Falls is a 132 m high waterfall on the Bogotá River.

It is located about 30 km southwest of Bogotá and about 50 kilometres in the north of the natural bridge of Icononzo

The 10 centavos stamp was overprinted "AEREO" in the year 1953.
The overprinted "AEREO" stamp was again overprinted "UNIFICADO" in the year 1959.
The 12 centavos stamps were overprinted 2 and 10 centavos in the years 1937/1938.
