The French overseas department Mayotte consists of the main island Mayotte, Dzaoudzi, Pamanzi Island and several smaler islets around. The territory is geographically part of Comores archipelago.
Mayotte, also known Maore, has an area of 374 sq km.
Its highest point is Mount Benare at 660 metres.
