The Escalier de Venus waterfall is situated within the Mount Hoyo Reserve in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Its name Escaliers de Venus means " stairways of Venus", named so as the water flows down over the rocks, which appear like steps. The Nature Reserve comprises the Mount Hoyu at 1'450 metres. It is situated in the southwest of the lake Albert and in the north of the Ruwenzori Range.
