Pichincha Volcano 4'794 m

The Pichincha Volcano is located 8 km from the centre of Quito, the capital of Ecuador.

The mountain's two highest peaks are the Guagua 4'784 metres and Rucu 4'698 metres. The active caldera is in the Guagua, on the western side of the mountain. Both peaks are visible from the city of Quito.
