The Chaîne des Aravis is situated in the west of the Mont Blanc massif.
Its major peaks are: Pointe Percée (2'752m), La Grande Balmaz (2'616m), Mont Charvet (2'538m), La Roualle (2'589m), Tête Pelouse (2'537m), Pointe des Verres (2'532m), Pointe de Bella Cha (2'511m), Mont Fleuri (2'511m), La Grande Torche (2'505m), Pointe de Tardevant (2'501m), Les Pointes Longues (2'451m), Pointe d'Areu (2'478m), Pointe de Chombas (2'468m), Tête de la Forclaz (2'434m) and Mont Charvin (2'409 m)

The Pointe Percée is the highest mountain of the Chaîne des Aravis.
