Lacs de Chesery is a group of small mountain lakes, located (appr. 45°58'57.17"N 6°53'49.62"E) on a “balcony” high above Chamonix. The area can be reached by the cable car up to La Flégèrei.

The Aiguille du Argentière is located in the north of the major peaks of the Mont Blanc massif on French Swiss border. The first ascent of the Aiguille du Argentière was made by a British party comprising Edward Whymper and A. Reilly with guides Michel Croz, M. Payot, H. Charlet on 15 July 1864.
