The Pointe du Raz is a promontory that extends into the Atlantic from western Brittany.

The stamp exists overprinted "CFA" for Reunion.
“CFA” means Colonie Francaise Afrique.

Reunion was a colony of France and began to issue their own stamps in 1865. It became an equal partner in the French Republic in 1947, and began to use stamps of France overprinted “CFA” for postage. In 1975, stamps of France replaced those inscribe or overprint “CFA”.
