The Gullfoss are waterfalls of the river Hvítá, whose source is in the glacier lake Hvítárvatn at Langjökull (64°19'37.05"N 20° 7'11.46"W).
The Gullfoss waterfalls are two separate falls, one above the other. The upper step is 11 metres high and the other is 21 metres high.
Gullfoss is situated about twelve kilometres from Geysir and Faxi waterfall.
