Urriðafoss
PNamibia
Bromo Tengger Semeru Nationalpark

The Urriðafoss is a cascading waterfall flowing on river Melbugsaa, which is a tributary of the river Jökulsá á Fjöllum. The Urriðafoss can be seen on a 3.5 km long walking trail "Holmatungur circuit".

It is situated (appr. 65°52'10.81"N 16°26'21.56"W) about 6 kilometres in the north of Dettifoss and Selfoss in the Katlar section of the Jökulsárgljúfur Canyon. This river falls tumbles over a ledge, to form the waterfall of Urriðafoss, before meeting the Jökulsá River.

(please note, there is another, much bigger waterfall in southwestern Iceland, called Urriðafoss as well)
