Trishul 7'120 m


The Trishul is a group of three Himalayan peaks situated in the Kumaun Kumaon division of Uttarakhand.

The highest is the Trisul I (7'120 m). The two other peaks of the group are Trisul II (6'690 m) and Trisul III (6'007). They are situated about 15 kilometres in the southwest of Nanda Devi. The Trisul I ist best known for beeing the first peak over 7'000 metres to have ever been climbed.

The Roopkund Lake is situated at the height of 5'029 meter.

The lake provides the stunning view of the Trishul peak (7122 meter). It is also known as the shallow Lake or Skeleton Lake.
