The Langkofel group, also known as Sassolungo (italian name)is a mountain range in the Dolomites.

In the group there are 8 major peaks and Langkofel (Sassolungo) 3'181 m is the highest one. The other ones are Plattkofel (Sassopiatto) 2'958 m, Zahnkofel (Dente) 3'000 m, Innerkoflerturn (Torre Innerkofler) 3'181 m, Dantersassspitze (Cima Dantersass) 2'825 m, Grohmannspitze (Punta Grohman) 3'126 m, Fünffingerspitze (Punta Cinque Dita) 2'918 m and Langkofelkarspitze (Spallone del Sassolungo) 2'825 m.

The FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 1970 were held in Gröden Val Gardena. Val Gardena is surrounded by mountain massifs of Langkofel, Sella and Odle group.
