The Awamata Falls (Awamata no taki), also known as Taka-taki Falls or Yoro Great Falls of the Yoro River are situated in the Yoro-keikoku valley (Boso Peninsula). Its total height is about 30 meters and clear water running over a distance of 100 meters down stair-shaped rocks has earned it praise for its resemblance to silk cloth spread out.
