Mt. Bizan is located in the middle of Tokashima city and known as a symbol of Tokushima. The mountain can be reached by a cable car and its summit offers a panorama over the city. On a clear day visitors can see as far as Awaji Island and the Kii Peninsula.
The stamp shows the Yoshinogawa Bridge between Ohjin-cho and Kami Suketo-cho (Tokushima city) over the Yoshino River. It is a truss bridge, 1'071 metres long and opened 1928.
The mountain in the background is Mount Bizan 277 m.
The stamp was issued in the series "60th Anniversary Series of the Enforcement of the Local Autonomy Tokushima Prefecture".
