Tsukuda Island in Musashi Province
Musashi Province was a province of Japan, which today comprises Tokyo Metropolis, most of Saitama Prefecture and part of Kanagawa Prefecture.
The Tsukuda Island was a fishing village lying near the mouth of the Sumida River. Today the Tsukuda Island is the northern tip of Tsukishima Island (Tsukishima Island is an island formed of reclaimed land completed in 1892). It is located in Chūō, which is one of the 23 special wards (municipalities) that together make up the core and the most populous part of Tokyo.
