The Inylchek glacier is the biggest glacier in Kyrgyzstan. It has two sleeves named Northern and Southern Inylchek. It is situated in the east of the Issyk-Kul lake in the Khan-Tengry massif. The Southern Inylchek is the largest glacier of the Tian-Shan and the second in size mountain glacier among CIS countries after the Fedchenko glacier in the Pamir mountains. The Southern Inlyckek is located between the Tengry-tag and Kokshaaltau ridges. It is 58,9 km in length and has 17,2 km2 area (2010). The Northern Inylchek slips down due west between the two mountain ranges Saridjass in the north and Tengri-tag in the south. Its length is about 30 km.
