The Gouina Falls of the Senegal River are situated about 40 kilometres in the northwest of the city Bafoulabé.
The Falls are 500 metres wide and 16 metres high. They are more attractive during the rainy season. The average flow rate amount during the rainy season is up to 2430 cubic metre per second.
