The Brandberg Massif is situated about 120 kilometres in the northwest of the Spitzkoppe, in the east of the Goboboseb Mountains and 65 km in the south of Twyfelfontein. The massif covers an area of about 760 square kilometres. Its highest summit, known as Königsstein at 2'573 m, is the highest mountain of Namibia. Other summits are the Numasfels (2'520 m) and the Zisabspitze (2'169 m).
