Nepal map Karte Bigphera Go Shar

The Bigphera go Shar, also known as Likhu Chuli I, is situated in the Rolwaling Himal and towers over the Trakarding Glacier.

First Ascent: 21.10.1960, Cecile Barbezat (French) and Nawang Dorje Sherpa (Nepali).

 The Tsho Rolpa is one of the about 2'300 glacial lake in the Nepal Himalayas. It has been created in the last 40 years, as the Tradkarding glacier has begun to melt rapidly. It is retreating at a rate of over 20 metres a year due to rising temperatures. The lake is situated at an altitude of 4'580 metres above sea level.
