Ailsa Mountains

The Ailsa Mountains are situated in the South Island's Fiordland region.

Its highest summit at 2'096 m is unnamed on NZ Topo map and located 44°53'16.45"S 168°11'0.50"E. The second highest summit is the Jean Batten Peak at 1'971 m (44°51'33.00"S 168°10'24.21"E).

It is a view from the Key summit trail (viewpoint is appr. 44°48'56.83"S 168° 7'39.71"E) towards north-east. Key summit ridge is the ridge between Lake Fergus in the west and Lake McKellar in the east. The summits are unnamed on New Zealand topo map.
