Mount Aspiring 3'033 m

The Mount Aspiring at 3'033 metres is situated about 30 kilometres in the west of the Lake Wanaka in the Ontage region in New Zealand. It is the highest mountain within the Mount Aspiring Nationalpark.

For its pyramidal peak (seen from the Dart river) it is often called as the "Matterhorn of the south".
