Norfolk Island is an external Australian territory in the Pacific Ocean about 1600 km northeast of Sydney.
The Cascade Creek waterfalls, also known as Cockpit waterfalls are located in the north-east part of the island (appr. 29° 1'12.99"S 167°58'2.88"E). These are two cascades on Cascade Creek, which feeds the falls and is one of the two permanant streams on Norfolk Island. Each of the waterfalls is approximately 10 m tall, falling over basalt rock. There are more smaller waterfalls on the island, but mostly seen only during the rain.
