The Mount Torghatten at 258 metres is located on Torget island in Brønnøy municipality. The mountain is famous for its natural hole through its center. The hole/tunnel is 160 metres long, 20 metres wide and 35 metres high.
It was created during the Ice Age. Ice and water gradually eroded away the loose rock, while the harder rock around the top of the mountain remained.
