The Chopicalqui at 6'354 metres is situated in the Cordillera Blanca. It is connected by a ridge with the Mt. Huascaran.
First ascent: 03.08.1932 by a German-Austrian expedition (P. Borchers, E. Hein, H. Hoerlin and E. Schneider).
