The Yerupaja is situated in the Cordillera Huayhuash in western Peru. It is after the Mt. Huascaran (6'768 m) the second highest mountain in Peru and the highest in the Cordillera Huayhuash.

First Ascent: 1950 by Jim Maxwell and Dave Harrah.
