The Muhabura, also known as Muhavura, is an extinct volcano in the Virunga Mountains. Its summit marks the Rwanda-Uganda borderline.

At 4'127 metres the Muhabura is after the Karisimbi (4'507 m) the second highest mountain of Rwanda. It is part of the Volcanoes National Park and partly in the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. 

It forms with the volcanoes Karisimbi (4'507 m), Mikeno (4'437 m), Sabinyo (3'645 m), Bisoke (3'711 m), Gahinga (3'474 m), Nyiragongo (3'470 m) and Nyamuragira (3'058 m) the Virunga Mountains.
