At the tip of the Cape Peninsula lies Cape Point, a nature reserve within the Table Mountain National Park, a declared World Heritage Site, encopassing 7'750 hectares of rich and varied flora and fauna.
The Cape Point is a cliff at the southeastern end of the 52 kilometres long Cape Peninsula. The highest point of the cliff is at 238 metres above sealevel.
