The Rochers de Naye rises just east of the cities Montreux and Villeneuve above the Lake Geneva. The summit is connected from Montreux by the Montreux–Glion–Rochers-de-Naye railway. The cogwheel railway, with a track gauge of 800 mm, was opened in the year 1892.

The stamp shows a view of the railway line from the summit area towards the Dent de Jaman (1'875m).
After the Rochers de Naye railway ascending up towards the Dent de Jaman it enters a tunnel with a 180 degrees bend and curves up towards a second tunnel with another 180 degrees bend under the Rochers de Naye summit to the station on the mountains summit.
