The dormant volcano Erciyes Dagi is situated 25 kilometres in the south of the city Kayseri. It is one of the volcanoes, which formed the bizarre, magnificent Cappadocian landscape. The famous skiing area in Erciyes Ski Centre is between 1800 – 3000 m altitude.
