The Ecola State Park stretches 15 kilometres of coastline in northwestern Oregon. It is one of the Oregon most famous views, overlooking numerous rock formations and the capes and headlands miles to the south.

It is a view from the viewpoint near Sea Lion Rock, looking towards south. The big rock (left behind the ship) is known as Haystack Rock (Height: 72 m). The mountain ridge on the horizon consist of the Angora Peak (817 m) and Onion Peak (932 m).
