The Ngonye Falls or Sioma Falls on the Zambesi river are located about 5 kilometres in the south of the village Sioma. The falls are formed by the same geological process as the Victoria Falls, which are located about 345 km downstream of the Ngonye Falls. The basalt riverbed has eroded over time to form this large drop. It is between 10-25 m hight and about one kilometre wide.
