Mount Pilatus railway station Alpnachstad
The cog railway station in Alpnachstad.

The Mount Pilatus is connected with the world's steepest cog railway (maximum gradient of 48% and an average gradient of 35%.) from Alpnachstad and with the aerial panorama gondolas and aerial cableways from Kriens. The cogwheel railway was opened on 4th June 1889 and climbs a height of 1'635 metres on its 4'618 metres long track.
