Weissenstein is the name of a mountain ridge in the Jura mountains. It provides breathtaking views of the Swiss plateau towards the Alps. Weissenstein (1'280 m) can reached by a gondola from Oberdorf (Canton Solothurn). The panorama stretches from the Säntis massif in the northeast of Switzerland to Mont Blanc and the Chablais massif south of Lake Geneva.
