The Lueg is a 887 metres high hill along the road between the villages Wynigen and Affoltern in the Emmental. The hill offers a magnificent view towards the Bernese Alps. On its top there is the Lueg monument, which was erected (1921) in memory of the 54 Bernese cavalrymen who were victims of the flu epidemy of 1918.
