The Pragelpass is a 1550-metre-high mountain pass and connects the Klöntal valley in Canton Glarus with the Muotatal valley in Canton Schwyz. In addition to a long winter closure, the pass is also closed to all through traffic at weekends throughout the year. Furthermore, caution is advised with oncoming traffic, as the road is only one lane.
